How we check facts

Official sources first

Numbers come from the organisation that sets them: government sites (go.kr), transport operators such as AREX, Korail and Seoul Metro, the airports, and the Korea Tourism Organization's English pages. Where a fact only appears on a secondary site, we leave it out rather than guess.

A visible date

Each guide shows the date its sources were last opened and compared. When a source changes, the guide is updated and the date moves. Rules with an end date, such as temporary visa exemptions, are written with that date.

Rechecks

Guides are reviewed on a rolling schedule, and immediately when a reader reports a change. Fares and entry rules are checked first because they change most often.
